Networking and environmental education

Our leaflets and brochures, the Facebook page and this website are part of our awareness programme. This information is available to offer the background information necessary to understand the motivations and evolution behind this landstewardship initiative. We also have an environmental education programme focused on the local schoolchildren in order to complete their syllabus of natural history and conservation.

One of the ultimate goals of our project is to help create a sustainable model of environmental management for the Serra de Tramuntana which strikes a balance between the agricultural essence of our land and the new ways people relate to their environment in modern-day life. This is why we are promoting the communication and collaboration between all stakeholders: government, landowners, hikers, etc. Without true consensus no achievement will last.
