What we do?

A number of actions are taking place in order to reverse the degradation of the area, with the specific goals of: restoring the natural and cultural heritage, rediscovering and highlighting the inherent values and encouraging conservation. For this purpose, we strive to build and maintain a network including landowners, hikers, the tourism sector and the different administrations. This is necessary not just for the “Muntanya del Voltor” area but for the whole Serra de Tramuntana mountain range.

In order to restore our cultural and natural heritage, five courses of action are being conducted:

• Restoration of the cultural heritage.
• Regeneration of the biodiversity.
• Analysis and regulation of the public use.
• Maintenance of the footpaths.
• Environmental education and networking.
